Drug racket: Court orders attachment of Mamta Kulkarni’s properties

 

The special NDPS court has issued a notice to attachment of Bollywood actress Mamata Kulkarni’s assets to a key accused in the multi-crore drug racket case. Judge HM Pathvardhan directed Mamata to attach assets after failing to appear before the court in connection with the drug case.

Mamata issued an order to attach three luxury flats in Mumbai from Kulkarni. The current value of these flats is expected to be Rs 20 crore.
Public prosecutor Shishir hari said the court had issued a mandate to attach three assets of Mamata Kulkarni to the court, which responded positively to the prosecution application seeking attachment of Mamata assets.

The court has stated that Mamata Kulkarni is absconded to the investigation regarding to the 200 crore drug dealer issue. Drug Baron Vicky Goswami, police said that she is actively involved in illegal activities with close links. Mamta Kulkarni is alleged to be the principle of Drug Rocket, which was brought to light by the Thane police two years ago. Thane police claimed that Goswami and Mamata Kulkarni, who was trapped in Kenya, were taken to India.
