Former AP Minister and TDP MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu dies in Hyderabad
Former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Minister and Andhra Pradesh MLC, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu, died on Wednesday morning, after he succumbed to a heart attack. He was 71 years old. He was a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party and died in a private hospital in Hyderabad. Currently he is living in Padmawatpipuram in Tirupati. He worked as a faculty at Pethanandipadu Arts and Science College, Guntur District, and made his political debut in 1983. He has worked for the development of the district including Nagari constituency development, which was represented by him. He is well known person to all Telugu people. He has particular style in fighting against the opposition. Telugu Desam party members shocked by his death.
Mr. Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu was born on June 9, 1947 at Ramchandrapuram Mandalam in Chittoor district in the Venkatramapuri district. G. Ramanaidu and Rajamma are his parents. He had done his B.Sc, and MA along with attorneys degree. He has a wife Saraswathi, two sons and daughters. He has been representing six times legislators from Puttur. He served as Education (1984), Forestry (1987), Higher Education (1994) Minister in state. He broke with the Telugu Desam and joined the Congress and became the party legislator in the 2004 elections. He returned to Telugu Desam Party in 2008 and won from Nagari constituency in 2009 election as MLA. In the 2014 elections, he lost from the same seat. Currently he serves as a Telugu Desam Party MLC.
