Donald Trump drops H-1B visa plan || Good News For Indians
Good news for overseas employees in the US, especially Indian IT professionals The Trump Government is currently abandoning the idea of limiting the extension to H1B visas for two terms. Following the ‘Buy American, Hire American’ approach that trump implemented. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Monday made a statement on the idea that the H1B visa extension should be limited to two times (6 years). The prospect of foreign employers is continuing to extend their H1B visas to them until they get the green card that allows for permanent residence in the US.
The American Congress in Twenty-first Century Act, enacted the United States on a temporary basis through other HQ countries. The Act is valid for 17 years. The current legislation is likely to increase the number of H1B visas to ‘any number of times’ while pending applications for the green card.
However, Trump initiated to make changes in the law so that only twice can be extended. Many of these proposals are opposed by the US Chamber of Commerce (USCC).They said that sending back to home from the US will affect the economy, business and the whole country could be a risk.
