‘Jane Bhee Do Yaro’ director Kundan Shah died of Heart attack
The famous Bollywood director Kundan Shah (69) died of Heart attack. On Saturday morning, he died in his residence due to heart attack. His daughter confirmed the death of Shah. Many Bollywood personalities have been mourning for his death.
Kundan shah had a good reputation as Directed movies like ‘Jane Bhee Do Yaro’ and ‘Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa’. He also created TV serials like ‘Nakkad’ ” Wagli Ki Duniya ‘. His last directorial film ‘Pai Sa Pam Tak’ was released in 2014. Shah introduced himself as a satirical comic strip in Bollywood films.
After the news broke, Bollywood celebrities from Karan Johar to Riteish Deshmukh expressed grief over social media.
Born on 19 October 1947, Shah studied direction at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and made his directorial debut with “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron” in 1983.
The movie featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Baswani, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur, Satish Shah, Satish Kaushik, Bhakti Barve and Neena Gupta went on achieve a cult status despite a poor response at the box office.
