MeToo effect: 10 women employees file sexual harassment claims against McDonald’s
New York: America’s fast food company McDonald’s had taken a #’Metoo’ movement. Sexual abuse cases have been reported by two National Advocacy groups against McDonald’s. The group filed the complaint on behalf of 10 women working in the fast food restaurant in 9 cities. These workers include a 15-year-old girl from St. Louis. The girl alleged that the supervisors working in the restaurant were sexually harassing her and being sexually abusive.
Not only that single girl, but all women who complained about how much sexual abuse they are experiencing. The fight for $ 15 is struggling with the low wages of employees. The Times loyal Defense Fund is endorsing the legal cost of these cases. The National Women’s Law Center has set up this fund for women who can not afford these cases to commissions and courts themselves.Have a look at this video.

These complaints were filed for the fight for $ 15 at the United States Employees Association. McDonald’s spokesman Terry Hickey responded to this sexual abuse complaint. There is no place for sexual abuse and discrimination in their workplace. Hickey said the company has been accused of sexually harassing allegations.
The restaurant names mentioned in the complaints are franchises that are more likely to run, and they are not directly run by McDonald’s. However, complaints were filed against McDonald’s corporation and franchisees. The Fight Against McDonald’s has filed $ 15 for complaining of similar sexual abuse allegations over the past two years.McDonald’s assured to review the allegations at that time and take appropriate action. However, the official spokesman refused to respond to any changes in the policies.
Activists say sexual harassment is pervasive in the fast food industry. A 2016 survey by Hart Research Associates calculated that 40% of female fast food workers experience unwanted sexual behaviour on the job. #MeTooEffect #MeToohttps://t.co/SPr9Bsfvib
