Srinivas Kuchibhotla killer sentenced life imprisonment

US federal court sentenced to life imprisonment for murder of Indian engineer Kuchibotla Srinivas in Kansas City in the US On February 22 last year, a man in a bar in Kansas was shot dead by Adam Pureinton (52) when his friend. He shouted, ‘Let’s leave our country’ and he ran away. The federal judge on Saturday ruled that Puritan had spent 78 years in jail after being convicted in the case.

Under the sentence, Adam Purinton, 52, who pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in March, will not be eligible for parole for 50 years, District Attorney Steve Howe said in a statement on Friday.

He was sentenced to 100 years imprisonment without bail. Purinton was charged with firing over his friend Alok Medassini, along with another person who tried to prevent him from killing the culprits. The US Attorney’s Office filed a case in June last year under the Criminal Procedure Code. Srinivas’s wife Sunanaa welcomed the court verdict.

“The message has given a tough message that it is never acceptable. Thank you to the district attorney office and the police officer who helped me in this case, “a statement said. Hyderabad-based jeeps manufacturer Garmin was the aviation systems engineer and progammes manager. After completing engineering degree in JNU, Hyderabad graduated from Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Texas.
