NewDelhi: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that he will take strict action on Pakistan if it is violating the ceasefire agreement. On the eve of Ramazan, she has spoken to the media about border issue. Moreover, she was responded on the topic of discussions with Pakistan. This is not a good circumstance to conduct meeting with Pakistan why because they are giving warning. The bilateral talk will take place when they are maintaining peace in the border. Our responsibility is to keep the boundaries safe regarding this if anyone is trying to violating the rules then we will give a strong reply to them. ‘India didn’t commit to a violation of the Ceasefire Agreement’, she said.
She responded to India-Russia co-operation. “India-Russia cooperation and relations are very strong. There was no scam in Rafael Jets purchases. The deliberate allegations are made by the opposition. There was a shortage of weapons in the UPA regime. In 2013-14, Rs 79,000 crore was spent on 87 thousand crores. But now there is no shortage of weapons for security forces. In the year 2017-18, we have allocated 90,460 for 86488 crores. We have made it easier to buy the necessary weapons, “she explained.
About Cantonment Roads .. ‘There were many appeals on the closure of 62 cantonment roads in the country. TRS (Telangana) has been discussed with representatives of various parties. Meetings were held with the Military and Civil Society. The appeal of MPs on road closure is understood. 850 roads have been shut down so far. 119 roads were closed due to the rules. 80 roads have been re-opened. 15 roads are partially opened. 24 are still closed, “said Nirmala Sitharaman.

Ceasefire’s brave step, welcomed by most people. There are elements who don’t want peace so some incidents are taking place. There hasn’t been drastic increase in such incidents. This yr there has been reduction in stone pelting incidents, compared to Ramzan last yr: R Sahi,IG CRPF pic.twitter.com/zsRvx8Kk2y
