Suicide Attack Kills At Least 25 Amid Afghan Cease-Fire With Taliban

Kabul: For two days the suicide bombing has taken place in  Afghanistan on the eve of eid in this incident at least 36 people were killed and 60 wounded in a suicide attack on Sunday and Saturday in Jalalabad.  Taliban militants, security forces, and civilians targeted two attacks in two days.

Later, Afghan officials made an allegation on  Islamic State (IS) who is responsible for this violence. There have been incidents of conflict with the Taliban in the past which were not in the ceasefire agreement.  On the other hand, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s announcement that the ceasefire agreement would be extended for another 9 days. It concluded that the deal was over and did not intend to continue.

“During the cease-fire, we will provide medical assistance to the wounded Taliban, and will provide them any humanitarian assistance if needed,” Ghani said on Twitter. “Taliban prisoners will also be allowed to contact and see their families.”  Have a look at this video.
