Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is likely to be postponed. The government hopes to postpone the test in the wake of the lack of time and complaints received from the the students regarding lack of preparation time, government is planing to postpone the test schedule, Online examination will be held from 17th to 27th January as per mentioned schedule. It is likely to be extended for another 15 days. The government is likely to issue official statement within two to three days.
Time to apply for a test online. Most of the candidates who had written in the past had forgotten their halltickets-numbered names etcs and now it is compulsory to mention in online application. This has become difficult to apply. Based on this government is thinking about the postponing the exam.
In 2014, TET and DSC conducted combinedly. TET was conducted in 2011, 2012 in the joint AP. Some of those who attended the test at that time lost their certificates. So applicants are requesting for recovery details based on date of birth or any other information.
Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao discussed with APPSC chairperson Uday Bhaskar and school education commissioner Sandya Rani at his office in AP Secretariat about conducted TRT under APPSC. APPSC Chairman Uday Bhaskar expressed his willingness to manage the TRT.

The Minister has suggested that all three schools that are not yet started should be started in any school or building if necessary from the next academic year. The 60 posts of these schools were ordered to be included in DSC. On the other hand, no decision was taken on the promotions of the ideal teachers.
